Jim Kizer: AMA/Prostar's Top End Guru

Jim Kizer passed away Fabruary 5th, 2015. Father of AMA/Prostar chief Scooter Kizer, Jim was a constant prescence at the track who oversaw the safety of racers on the top end. Jim was battling a form of Alzheimer's called Lewy Body Dementia. Over the past couple of years his health started to decline but got progressively worse in the last six months.
"Racing was the most important part of his life as was the friends he made through racing," said Scooter. " It started with boat racing in the 60's followed by all the Kizer boys being involved in motorcycle racing starting in the early 70's."
Viewing & Funeral Service will be held at Brookside Funeral Home in Houston, Texas on Eastex Freeway.

Viewing will be held on Monday, February 9th from 5:00pm - 8:00pm, one hour earlier for family.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 10th at 11:00am.
